Its Happening!! Man United Star Paul Pogba Set To Force Move To This Club
Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, wants to leave for Barcelona, even if his strained relationship with manager Jose Mourinho can be mended.
United insist the club’s £89million record signing will not be sold, but Pogba has set his heart on a move to Spain.
Mourinho tried to placate the midfielder, by making him captain for United’s first game of the season against Leicester.
However, their relationship hit a new low when Pogba said after the match that he could not discuss the situation without being fined.
Sportsmail reports that Pogba’s desire to play for Barcelona is the main reason for his wish to leave and the fall-out with Mourinho is now a secondary issue.
It is believed the Frenchman, who has not demanded a pay rise, would have loved a move to Spain when he left Juventus two years ago.
However, his agent Mino Raiola was unable to tempt Barcelona or Real Madrid, then United made a world-record offer.

‘My Husband Wants To Kill Me, He Demands For Sex More Than Food’, Woman Tells Court
A Grade ‘C Customary Court in Iseyin on Wednesday dissolved a seven-year-old marriage between one Baliki Oke and her husband, Arowolo, over incessant demand for sex.
Baliki had approached the court in July, seeking the dissolution of her marriage to Arowolo over his frequent demand for sex.
She told the court that the union had produced a six-year-old boy.
“My husband wants to kill me with sex, he demands sex more than he does for food, he wants to have sex with me six times in a day before he gets satisfied.
“Arowolo goes to the farm very early in the morning and would not wait for me to bring his lunch.
“He will come home in the afternoon just to have sex twice before he goes back to the farm and would still make demands when he returns at night.
“Anytime I try to resist him, he will beat me till I surrender.
“ I have decided to quit for the sake of my life. I don’t want to die now, my lord, please dissolve this marriage,’’ she said.
Responding, Arowolo, who did not refute the claims of his estranged wife, told the court that he has a high sex drive.
“I have worked very hard to solve this problem of incessant sex urge to no avail.
“The truth is that I can’t cope with life without sex, I can’t work, eat or play, sex is more important to me than anything else in life.
“I have been suffering since she packed out of our house about 10 days ago; I have not been going to work, I have begged her relatives to plead with her on my behalf, “NAN quoted him as saying.
Arowolo, who urged the court not to dissolve the marriage, also promised that he will check his urge for sex if she returns.
Delivering judgment, the President of the court, Chief Adelodun Raheem, said that all the efforts of the court to plead with the wife and her relatives to resolve the crisis did not yield a positive result.
Raheem, consequently, dissolved the marriage and granted the custody of their child to Baliki.
He ordered Arowolo to be paying N2,500 weekly to the court’s registrar for the child’s upkeep.

Family of 5 Dies From Inhalation of Generator Fumes
Five members of a family of six have been killed by generator fumes in Igboetche community, in the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State. According to reports, the sad incident happened on Monday August 13th.
Mr Andrew Monye, his wife Onyinye Monye and three of their four children, died in the incident. Monye had turned on the generator when there was power outage and left it in his bathroom before himself and his family retired to their bedroom.
The fumes from the gerenator circulated their home leaving five members of the family dead.
The Children that lost their lives were two girls (15 and 11 years old) and a five-year-old boy, while the only child that survived was 13 years old.
A member of the community who spoke to Punch, said that though the generator was always left outside, the family decided to take it inside the bathroom because of the high rate of stealing in the community.
“They (family members) decided to take the generator in because there is a law that generators should be put off by 11pm. The law came up because of the stealing in the community,” he said
A villager, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “Their (deceased) mouths were foaming and some of them had vomited. It was the surviving child that alerted the house builders opposite their compound that his parents and siblings did not wake up from sleep. They followed him inside the building and found the family dead. They also alerted their neighbours who informed the police about the tragedy. The police took the corpses to a mortuary.”
Confirming the incident, the state police PRO, Nnamdi Omoni, said the corpse of the deceased persons have been deposited in the morgue while investigation into the circumstances that led to their death has commenced.

''Northern Nigeria is most backward region in the world'' - Nuhu Ribadu
Former EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, has described Northern Nigeria region as the most backward region in the world. Ribadu made the description while speaking at the launch of two books titled “Sect and social disorder” and “Quaranic Schools in Northern Nigeria” in Abuja yesterday, August 15th.
The former chairman of the antigraft agency said the Almajiri system of education being practiced in the North is the worst form of dehumanization.
“I am from Yola, we have similar culture with Kaduna, Kano but we don’t have Almajiri, what is happening? We are also Muslims. There are lots of areas where we have similar things. Which education are we talking about, these are some things that are incredible and you don’t know where to start. There is nothing worse, in the form of violation and abuse of rights, more than the Almajiri system, yet people are justifying it, comfortably calling themselves as products of it. I think we have to look at it crucially otherwise we will continue to go that direction that we will not be able to solve her problems.
“We are the most backward people in this world, the society of northern Nigeria. Look at all the indices in the world today, we are the worst. Why? How can we continue to deny ourselves our future? I worked on many of those crises and conflicts as a member of the investigation team and tribunal, I was in Zango Kataf, I was in Tafawa Balewa, I was in Kaduna religious crisis, I was among the prosecutors of El-Zakzaky in the 1990s.
“During the Kaduna religious disturbance of 2000, we visited where they buried the victims along Birnin Gwari road, they opened the graves for us, what I saw is still haunting me. There were bodies, all of them young boys, no girls that is talking about Almajiri – boys over 100 buried in mass graves and no identity, not a single one of them had a name and they were all buried, I got interested in this.
“I said let me see and get it touch with those who are responsible for it. They were victims of the crisis that took place in Kaduna because of the Sharia riots. They said they did not have their identity or Mallam responsible for them. Did anyone come to complain that they have lost a child? They said no. I was also in interpol, I had a duty to do outside Nigeria. I flew British Airways. Few days after that and the governor who introduced Sharia to Nigeria had his kids there and they all went to the first class. It was terrible for me. I could not say anything throughout the flight. The sight of those young boys, buried, unidentified – nobody is talking about it, the families never even complained, not even their so-called mallams.” Ribadu said
On his part, Matthew Kukah, archbishop of Sokoto diocese, said people in the north need to help themselves.
“If we were serious Christians or Muslims we will not be having this conversation. We in the northern Nigeria, we have to help ourselves.” Kukah said

Marco Asensio was close to equalising with a flicked finish from a Marcelo left-wing cross, but Jan Oblak made an excellent save.
Madrid equalised in the 27th minute, though, Bale delivering a wonderful deep cross from the right wing that Benzema nodded past Oblak.

But Marcelo’s mistake on the touchline allowed Juanfran and Angel Correa to combine and set up Costa to slam home an equaliser in the 79th minute.
And when substitute Thomas Partey stood up a cross from the left, Saul was on hand to lash a vicious volley into Navas’ top-left corner to regain the lead for Atletico, with Koke’s fine first-time finish in the 104th minute wrapping up the scoring.

Innocent man regains freedom after spending 2 years in prison for helping a neighbor who overdosed on drugs to the hospital
A man identified as Chidiebere Onwumere has regained his freedom, 2 years after being wrongly imprisoned for causing the death of Uzochi Chinyere, a neighbor he rushed to the hospital, following a drug overdose in Abia State.
Speaking with with AFN, on Tuesday, he recounted how it happened saying, “I got home that day, around 6pm, only to see my neighbour lying helpless and I decided to assist her to the hospital with the help of other neighbors. A pastor who resides within the neighborhood, took us with his car to a nearby hospital called Shiloh hospital, where the doctor asked us to deposit N5000 to conduct a text that would determine exactly what was wrong with her.
I and some other neighbours contributed the money. When the result came out, the doctor told us that she was on substance overdose and was knocked out by the illegal substance. He assured us that she would be well again.
.
.
However, the next morning, Mr Promise, the deceased’s elder brother, arrived the hospital and insisted on taking her away to another hospital against the doctor’s advice. After a few days, he came back to our compound and took me to World Bank police station, Aba, where he handed me over to the police, claiming that I beat his sister to death.
Despite pleas that my hands were clean and that there was a doctor’s report stating that their sister died of substance abuse, Promise insisted and filed a murder charge against me. I was arraigned on suit no. U/520c/2016 and remanded in prison custody since June 2016. It was one Barrister Jerry Uzosike that God used to vindicate and bring me out of prison.”

Married pastor impregnates member 2 years after getting private jet as birthday gift from church
A Toronto-based married Ghanaian pastor, who was gifted a private jet by his church members two years ago, is involved in a paternity case following allegations that he fathered a child with his former congregant.
Martin Kofi Danso, who is the founder of Miracle Arena for All Nations, which operates 17 branches in various countries, reportedly impregnated Chris-Ann Bartley and the case is in court. But the pastor wants to have his identity kept secret because the publicity could damage his reputation and hurt him financially.
However, a judge ruled on Tuesday that Danso can't keep his identity secret in the paternity case. The Star reports that Ontario Superior Court Justice Fred Myers dismissed a request by Martin Kofi Danso to extend a publication ban and sealing order on a court file related to allegations he fathered a child Bartley.

Ritual Killers Explain How They Open Children’s Skulls And Remove Their Brains
Two black magic killers have been recorded offering to behead a child, crack open their skull and remove their brain to bring business success to an undercover reporter.
The gruesome offer was captured by the BBC, as they investigated a series of gruesome murders in the East African state of Malawi.
Victims in the area had been beheaded and had other body parts removed.
One of the men is recorded saying: “We take the head. If you want, we can break the skull and take out the brain.”
The other adds: “Or we can crack the skull and pull out the tongue.”
The BBC team were working with undercover reporter Anas Aremeyaw Anas to get to the bottom of the horrific killings.
Locals blamed the murders on black magic “muti” killers, who used body parts as charms to bring luck to rich clients.
Anas posed as a wealthy businessman looking to increase his fortunes, and tracked down one of the suspected killers.
The man, who called himself Kamanga, explains to a hidden camera that the head and genitals are the most powerful for bringing business success.
The undercover reporters meet Kamanga a second time at night, when he and an accomplice offer to kill kids and drink their blood.
After the meeting the crew and killers are surrounded by angry villagers who attack them, believing them all to be murderers.
One of the team had a knife forced into his back, and a large cut made through his suit.
Anas spoke about how he reached out for his producer, convinced the villagers were going to kill the whole crew.
The team ran and were saved by cops and a local chief, but came away with injuries from stoning.
The two black magic killers also escaped, and the investigation was abandoned.

We Will “Do Everything Possible” To Take Champions League From Real Madrid – Messi
Barcelona star Lionel Messi said the club will “do everything possible” this season to prise the Champions League trophy away from arch rivals Real Madrid, who have won the competition each of the past three years.
“This year I think we have a squad that allows us to dream. The new players are going to help us be better than before,” Messi told fans at the Camp Nou ahead of Wednesday’s 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Boca Juniors.
“Last season was very good because we won the cup and La Liga but the Champions League sticks in our throat, especially given the way we were eliminated,” he said, as Barcelona lost to Roma on away goals in the quarter-finals.
“We promise you this year we’re going to do everything possible so that this beautiful and much sought after cup comes back to the Camp Nou again,” added Messi, a Champions League winner in 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2015.
The 31-year-old will take over the captaincy at Barcelona this season following the departure of club legend Andres Iniesta for Japan.
“We’re going to miss the great Andres a lot this year,” said Messi. “It’s a great honour to be the captain and I know what that means at this club. I was lucky to have great examples like (Carles) Puyol, Xavi and Andres (Iniesta).”
Messi scored his side’s second goal in the victory over Argentine giants Boca in the Joan Gamper Trohpy, a traditional curtain-raiser named in honour of the club’s founder.
Brazilian winger Malcom, a new arrival from Bordeaux, opened the scoring and Rafinha struck a third goal for Ernesto Valverde’s team. Barcelona, who beat Sevilla 2-1 in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday, begin the new La Liga campaign at home to Alaves on Saturday.

''I am actively considering running against President Buhari in 2019'' Bukola Saraki
Senate President Bukola Saraki has confirmed rumors that he will be running for president in 2019. Saraki who defected from APC to PDP a few weeks ago, confirmed this in an interview with Bloomberg .
“I am consulting and actively considering it. I believe I can make the change.” he said during the interview conducted in his apartment in Abuja
Saraki said that if he decides to run, it would be under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party, the main opposition group whose presidential primaries is slated for October.
Making reference to last Tuesday Augut 7th's invasion by the DSS, Saraki said that singular action showed that Nigeria's democracy is in danger and needed to be salvaged.
“If a government can go and lock up an arm of government -- and it’s never happened in our history -- we should all be very concerned. We should not be surprised that they would use security agencies for elections.” Saraki said
Saraki added that Nigeria needs to be governed by a genuinely pro-business administration that will be able to tackle recurrent security issues.
Speaking on his new party PDP, Saraki said
''The PDP has learnt its lesson from the loss in 2015, and I think unfortunately the APC did not learn from their victory. While negotiating with the PDP, we listed a number of issues. We talked about how to sustain and improve the fight against corruption; the issue of providing more powers to the states; inclusion and having a more nationalistic approach on things we do; to continue to improve the environment that will ensure investments. We listed a number of items during the discussions with the PDP, and there is a written agreement to that. We trust that we can hold them to that. We would ensure that the party is strong on security. The APC too have not done well on the issue of security.
We have the opportunity with the right kind of presidential candidate and president to provide the leadership for the party. The party has a good opportunity to lead the country in the right direction.”
